{O30} Day 19: Mixed Berries Oatmeal

 

1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup almond milk
2tbsp greek yogurt (I used Fage 0%)
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp vanilla extract
1 sachet stevia
1/2 cup frozen berries

1. In a medium size pan, heat the oats, and milk over medium heat. 
2. Once the mixture begins to simmer, approximately 5-6 minutes, stir in greek yogurt and half of the berries. Continue to stir until the berries start to "explode" and colors the mixture. 
3. Add in the vanilla, cinnamon, and stevia, and stir until incorporated.
4. When you're pleased with the consistency, transfer the oats into a bowl and top with the remaining berries. Serve hot! ;)

{O30} Day 10: Lemon Blueberry Oatmeal

1/2  cup oats
1 cup almond milk
1 tbsp. fresh lemon zest (about 1 lemon)
1/3 cup fresh blueberries
1/2  tbsp maple syrup
1 cup Greek yogurt (I used Fage 0%)
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg



1. Bring milk to a boil in a medium-sized pot.
2. Add oats and lemon zest, and cover. Bring back to boil and reduce heat to simmer.
3. In a medium bowl whisk remaining lemon juice, maple syrup, yogurt, and nutmeg. Pour this on top of the oats.
4. Stir in fresh blueberries. Serve hot and Enjoy!

{O30} Day 2: Blueberry Nut Oatmeal

1/2 cup regular rolled oats
1 cup liquid (milk or water)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 small sachet Stevia
1/4 cup fozen blueberries
1 tablespoon chopped pecans
1 tablespoon maple syrup

1. In a medium size pan, heat the oats, and milk over medium heat. 

2. Once the mixture begins to simmer, approximately 5-6 minutes, add half of the frozen blueberries. Continue to stir until the mixture thickens.
3. Add the vanilla, cinnamon, and stevia, and stir until incorporated.
4. Remove from the pan and top with the remaining blueberries and chopped pecans. Enjoy!
