Our idea of heaven ☀☁

Me and my bestfriend (Zhantelle) have agreed to go out and spend time more often since I'm gonna leave for Korea by the end of August already. For this day, our friends BJ, and Rob was supposed to come with us but they had prior commitments so instead of cancelling it, we just decided to pursue our date anyways. As planned,we watched Captain America. The movie was massive (very much because of Chris Evans, lol) I must say. There was some clip after the credits about I think the sequel of the movie but we weren't able to watch it because we immediately left. So anyways, I brought her to one of my newly discovered and new favorite place in the mall, Twirls. I've been there for only a few times and I totally love the place.

Anyhow, these are the pictures to show you how cute and charming the place is. :)

They sell vintage stuffs like necklaces, bags, etc. and some baking stuffs too :)

Their version of wicked oreos sure is a win! :))

The after-shots, hehez :) We can't leave a place without having a picture together! Good thing we were the only ones in the store :)

Whatever we do, a day with her is always a happy day ♥

Last Friday Night. ★

I have no plans of uploading these pictures in Facebook since they're only a few for an album, but my cousin wants me too so I thought of just posting it here for her to have a look at it. :) After my meet-up with some friends, I had dinner with my sister, my favorite cousin Yshy, and her boyfriend Ian.

We ate at John and Yoko at GB5. It was a Japanese Resto (my sister loves Japanese food, and it was her who chose it :D). The food was great, and the place too. :)

My dinner (some salad with shrimp and mangoes) - since its already past 6PM :) The serving was huge I though I won't finish it but I did HAHAHA x)

Sorry for the similar photos! My sister didn't want to join us bec she don't want shots with her uniform on hahaha :D After dinner, we strolled a bit, thought of drinking but decided to went home after all.

Neverhteless, I still enjoyed the night! Let's definitely plan for the next, and hope that Dianne will show up already! Hehez :)

Letter from the Past

To Lord Alfred Douglas
Sent from Courtfield Gardens, 20 May 1895

My child,

Today it was asked to have the verdicts rendered separately. Taylor is probably being judged at this moment, so that I have been able to come back here. My sweet rose, my delicate flower, my lily of lilies, it is perhaps in prison that I am going to test the power of love. I am going to see if I cannot make the bitter warders sweet by the intensity of the love I bear you. I have had moments when I thought it would be wise to separate. Ah! Moments of weakness and madness! Now I see that would have mutilated my life, ruined my art, broken the musical chords which make a perfect soul. Even covered with mud I shall praise you, from the deepest abysses I shall cry to you. In my solitude you will be with me. I am determined not to revolt but to accept every outrage through devotion to love, to let my body be dishonored so long as my soul may always keep the image of you. From your silken hair to your delicate feet you are perfection to me. Pleasure hides love from us, but pain reveals it in its essence. O dearest of created things, if someone wounded by silence and solitude comes to you, dishonored, a laughing-stock, Oh! You can close his wounds by touching them and restore his soul which unhappiness had for a moment smothered. Nothing will be difficult for you then, and remember, it is that hope which makes me live, and that hope alone. What wisdom is to the philosopher, what God is to his saint, you are to me. To keep you in my soul, such is the goal of this pain which men call life. O my love, you whom I cherish above all things, white narcissus in an unmown field, think of the burden which falls to you, a burden which love alone can make light. I love you, I love you, my heart is a rose which your love has brought to bloom, my life is a desert fanned by the delicious breeze of your breath, and whose cool spring are your eyes; the imprint of your little feet makes valleys of shade for me, the odour of your hair is like myrrh, and wherever you go you exhale the perfumes of the cassia tree.

Love me always, love me always. You have been the supreme, the perfect love of my life; there can be no other. I decided that it was nobler and more beautiful to stay. We could bot have been together. I did not want to be called a coward or a deserter. A false name, a disguise, a hunted life, all that is not for me, to whom you have been revealed on that high hill where beautiful things are transfigured.

O sweetest of all boys, most loved of all loves, my soul clings to your soul, my life is your life, and in all the world of pain and pleasure you are my ideal of admiration and joy.
Oscar

Now tell me, isn't this one of the sweetest, most romantic letter you've ever read? :"> How I wish, men of today still expresses their emotions in this kind of way. I think its more genuine than text messages, or emails. Just a thought. :)

An unexpected gift.

Yesterday, I met a friend because of a gift he'd made me. I was puzzled over the reason why he had to give me one but at the same time I was touched because we were not that close way back and yet he made that heartfelt gesture. He explained that it was a token of appreciation and farewell gift anyways.

So, when we met, he handed me a bag of cookies which he baked by himself. All the more I was moved. Define effort would you? Hehe :) I was unable to ask what kind of cookie was it but I'm pretty sure its a chocolate cookie (you'd know from the photos below) but I prefer to call inspiration cookie. Haha!

My breakfast! plus my favorite Silk Soymilk in Very Vanilla :)

I have to thank this guy, I'm in the mood for baking and taking shots again. Its Saturday and I'm inspired xx

Happy lemon fix ◕ ‿-。

Yesterday, my RLE groupmates and I met up for some catching up. Its been quite some time since we all went out and it will actually be our first day-out after our NLEs. The first plan was to go to Eastwood and go to some karaoke after but we've just decided to try Happy Lemon at GH since none of us have ever tried it yet.

This thing's cool B-)

We bought different drinks and then we tasted them each so we would all be able to try more than just one drink in just a price of one. Hehe ;) While waiting for the others, we did our catching up, bullied other people with our words HAHAHA >:) and just basically enjoyed the day. I had fun and they were just what I needed at that time. :)

My Rock Salt and Cheese! A must-try! ★

At Bea's for dinner ☺

We definitely will repeat this before I leave. But next time, it will be at the south already, hoho :D

I think I'll have a revolution in my bed

You go beyond your way to conform with the plan, then things suddenly changes. Now you’re left alone, and clueless. It sucks you know. I know I maybe a little shallow over the situation but the truth is, it’s not that that made me upset. It’s the fact that I felt that I got rejected again. The first time it happened? God it rip my heart out. From then on, every single time a hint of rejection kicks in; it just breaks it even more. Yeah, it could be lame but we all have our issues right? And I guess this one’s mine. I’m trying my best to handle it maturely and not sulk over and over it but it’s not that easy. Imagine getting yourself up from a quicksand. It’s hard isn’t it? Then imagine again someone tossing you back just even before you pull half of yourself up. That’s just how I feel every single time. Sucks right? I just wanna stop feeling this way anymore. I just wish that when this happens again (which of course I know would definitely occur), I would not have to play this sulky-depressive girl like I am right now.

There you go. I just have to let it out my system. Now I think I need to go hit the mall and let froyo and midyear sales take it all away. What do you think? :)

Accesorize Online Shop!

I was browsing through the Accesorize website and was looking if they have a branch in Korea and voilĂ ! I've found out that they have a number of branches too. That's a good because Accesorize is one of my favorite stores here in the Philippines and I'm considering that I would feel less indifferent to Korea if they have branches there. I just wish I'd acquaint myself to the city in no time :)

But! The better news is that they also have an online shop! Wooooo! This means that I can directly buy from my laptop! Hahaha. How cool is that? I just have to improve my Hangul so that I will get by with the site easily. :)

Oh yesss, I can't wait to try it! This will definitely be one in my lists when I get there in August. :)

Japan's Best

Our Japan Trip last term break was very very memorable and lately I've been missing it a lot. I mean, the place, the culture, the people, everything. To be specific, these are the things that I miss most about Japan. :)

1. The food - I really love Japanese food and we ate there almost every time. And to actually eat it from the place itself makes it more delightful :) 8-)

Pastries from the cafeteria in Sendai Shirayuri College

Okonomiyaki - Japanese pancake from one of the restaurants in Tokyo where we ate at on our shopping night.

Our bento box from our Shinkansen Trip on our way to Sendai (this is soooo yummy!)

2. The streets - Not unlike here, the people go out of the streets late so when you walk early morning, the streets are not yet that crowded. And I don't know, the buildings are just too good to look at. :)

Taken at around 8:00 AM

3. The subway - it's one of the major transportation in Japan so we take them almost every day (instant cardio exercise!) and I'm just really fascinated of how the whole thing works (automated ticket booth!)

4.Baskin Robbins! - I'm really not a fan of ice-cream but this one is really yummy. I loved all their strawberry flavors!

Last but defintely not the least,
5. Tomodachis! Our stay would not be complete if not for them. They've been so hospitable and nice to all of us and I really miss them so much. I've never thought that we'll be really close on such a short stay plus not to mention the language barrier we have.

My roommate/homestay/sister, Yurika :"> She's so sweet she even volunteered to cut my bangs and curl my hair that morning. Haha!

Mr.Suzuki and me @ the Okonomiyaki Restaurant

I really am looking forward to coming back there someday, and maybe not only there but also to other cities in Japan and longer stay too, Hehez :-)

Goodnight friends! :)

Perfect movie-day weather

So the perks of being a bummer is to have the luxury of watching all the movies you have missed during your college days. Well I have A LOT and I have my list for that so today I'm gonna start ticking them on my list (I have a long one to go). All I need is a bag of my favorite movie sidekick - Cheetos, and I'm all set!

Have a good day everyone!:}

Let's tidy up, shall we?

For the past 3 months that I've been studying, I haven't really had the time to fix my room and I admit it, it has been really catastrophic. My personal things and my books were scattered all over the place and my bed became my study table-slash-dining area-slash-sleeping mattress. Now that its already over, I can already start accomplishing my "After NLE-list". Hohoho :) So, first on my list, is to tidy up my room. Yey! I've started last Tuesday and I just finished yesterday (talk about some major cleaning hahaha)

My bedroom slippers were missing, and I was like "Oh its just on my bedside table." :D

I posted the mnemonics hoping to stock them all in my mind, but unfortunately I only memorized a few. HAHA :)

I've already stacked a few coffee sachets so that I won't have to go downstairs to get one in the middle of the night. Hahaha

My clothes were piled up in one of my bookshelves :)

My bags and things from the dorm were scattered under my drawer. Thank God for large boxes anyway ;)
