Good things come to an end

My flight was booked intentionally 2 days after my dad's arrival since we all wanna have some family time before I go back to Korea for the Spring Semester. Also, because my uncle from Sydney was also arriving on the day of my flight, I was hoping I could ask him questions about UOW but time didn't permit us to so my family and I just had our little family time over dinner. :) If you would know and if you have read my previous posts, our family loves to eat in buffets since we have different food preferences, you know to avoid long discussions over where to eat and what to order and stuffs like that. We went to Marriott Cafe because of the close proximity of it to the airport. I was excited for I wanted to eat their bread pudding again. It's my first time to taste bread pudding ever in my life during our first time here and since that time, I have always tried in different places but theirs is still the best. So yeah. ♥

Their Iced Tea has a cute little syrup thing so you could sweeten it to your taste.

My plates. HAHA I forgot to take a photo of my first which was a bunch of green stuffs, cheese, and bread rolls. ;">

Then, suddenly, while I was in the middle of enjoying my cheesecake, my mom was so strange to ask me to accompany her outside. So when we were walking, familiar faces surprised me. My high school friends were standing in the lobby waiting for me! :) It was my bestfriend's plan since we weren't able to hang out anymore because they have work and all so, I was touched and I was happy to see them before I go. :")

Thank you guyssss! :"> (L-R) Karen, Sarah, Junyet, Nash, B ♥

*sorry for the paperbag I looked trashy here hihi :D

During the past months, there are a lot of things that I've learned and realized about what I really want, and what are the things that really matter to me. Although it has been very clear to me now what is it, there are also some things that I have to do, and yes I might be making the not-so-right decision but, I know something good will come out of this. :)

Birthday post # 2 - Life's simplest pleasures

My actual birthday was spent with my family. I honestly think birthdays are categorized as one of the family occasions, that's why I intended to spend the day with them. We had lunch at Johnny Chow in Resorts World and since its a Sunday, we attended mass at the church nearby too. ;)

Side-kwento: Just when I was about to take my first shot, the "no memory card" sign flashed in my camera's LCD. :( Oh snap! How forgetful of me to remove it in my laptop! I was too dismayed because the place has nice interiors, there would have been a lot of lovely shots there. So thank God for my iPhone's relatively good camera resolution, I was able to take a few decent shots. (I wouldn't survive the day without documenting this day you know, haha) I didn't rely on Luna that much since I was shooting indoors. I took a few outdoor shots though.

Birthday post # 1 - Let us eat pizza ... and dessert

WARNING: This is an extremely long and photo heavy post.
It's my pre-birthday celebration so lem'me just rant about how great it went, m'kay? ;) KLEZGOO! :-}

So since last week, I've been planning about what to do on my birthday celebration this year. I have the option to celebrate here in the Philippines with my family and friends, or I can celebrate it in Korea already. The latter is kind of a "mature" option because I have to fix some things in school and in the dormitory by this week. However, the I prefer the first option over the second one since I only get to celebrate once a year so why not celebrate it the way I want it and with the persons I wanna celebrate with right? ;)

I've always wanted to host a pizza party for a birthday celebration. The make-your-own-pizza kind of party where everyone gets to stuff anything they want in their pizzas then put in the oven while we play games as we wait for them to get ready. Aaah, just the idea of it excites me already. :"> But that kind of party needs some preparation and apparently time is a luxury for me at this moment. Hihi So the next best idea would be calling in for a pizza delivery! How bad could that be, I mean its still pizza, right? :) Plus its not only my birthday that we celebrated this weekend but my parent's 23rd anniversary as well. So I had to consider mom's visitors too. ;)

Moving on, I ordered 3 different kinds of pizza so that we have lots of options and asked my mom to make us some baked macaroni&cheese (cause her baked mac's one of the best and it will surely be one of the things I'd miss when I go back in Korea soon). The early birds Sarah, Chesca and B waited outside as I get the food ready. Arienne and Karen were the latecomers, better late than never though! ;)

We spent the afternoon having endless conversations as we stuff our tummies with those hefty pizza slices and pasta, pretended we're mature individuals and drank red wine, but ended up drinking some mixed punch anyways. Hoho ;) :-}

Then without realizing only until the sky seemed to darker than earlier, we had literally been eating for almost 6 hours already! Can you imagine how we could possibly finish all those food? And we even have space for dessert! Total food coma I say. :@

Plus if you would know these girls, they are the ones who would not be happy with one or two shots so we used photo bursts and made completely fun of ourselves.

I think I made the right decision in choosing to celebrate my birthday here, didn't I? ;) This definitely is one for the books. Thanks for making my birthday yet again another unforgettable one. :"> As much as I know you love me, my love for you girls is truly endless. ♥ :">
