An unexpected gift.

Yesterday, I met a friend because of a gift he'd made me. I was puzzled over the reason why he had to give me one but at the same time I was touched because we were not that close way back and yet he made that heartfelt gesture. He explained that it was a token of appreciation and farewell gift anyways.

So, when we met, he handed me a bag of cookies which he baked by himself. All the more I was moved. Define effort would you? Hehe :) I was unable to ask what kind of cookie was it but I'm pretty sure its a chocolate cookie (you'd know from the photos below) but I prefer to call inspiration cookie. Haha!

My breakfast! plus my favorite Silk Soymilk in Very Vanilla :)

I have to thank this guy, I'm in the mood for baking and taking shots again. Its Saturday and I'm inspired xx

Japan's Best

Our Japan Trip last term break was very very memorable and lately I've been missing it a lot. I mean, the place, the culture, the people, everything. To be specific, these are the things that I miss most about Japan. :)

1. The food - I really love Japanese food and we ate there almost every time. And to actually eat it from the place itself makes it more delightful :) 8-)

Pastries from the cafeteria in Sendai Shirayuri College

Okonomiyaki - Japanese pancake from one of the restaurants in Tokyo where we ate at on our shopping night.

Our bento box from our Shinkansen Trip on our way to Sendai (this is soooo yummy!)

2. The streets - Not unlike here, the people go out of the streets late so when you walk early morning, the streets are not yet that crowded. And I don't know, the buildings are just too good to look at. :)

Taken at around 8:00 AM

3. The subway - it's one of the major transportation in Japan so we take them almost every day (instant cardio exercise!) and I'm just really fascinated of how the whole thing works (automated ticket booth!)

4.Baskin Robbins! - I'm really not a fan of ice-cream but this one is really yummy. I loved all their strawberry flavors!

Last but defintely not the least,
5. Tomodachis! Our stay would not be complete if not for them. They've been so hospitable and nice to all of us and I really miss them so much. I've never thought that we'll be really close on such a short stay plus not to mention the language barrier we have.

My roommate/homestay/sister, Yurika :"> She's so sweet she even volunteered to cut my bangs and curl my hair that morning. Haha!

Mr.Suzuki and me @ the Okonomiyaki Restaurant

I really am looking forward to coming back there someday, and maybe not only there but also to other cities in Japan and longer stay too, Hehez :-)

Goodnight friends! :)

Let's tidy up, shall we?

For the past 3 months that I've been studying, I haven't really had the time to fix my room and I admit it, it has been really catastrophic. My personal things and my books were scattered all over the place and my bed became my study table-slash-dining area-slash-sleeping mattress. Now that its already over, I can already start accomplishing my "After NLE-list". Hohoho :) So, first on my list, is to tidy up my room. Yey! I've started last Tuesday and I just finished yesterday (talk about some major cleaning hahaha)

My bedroom slippers were missing, and I was like "Oh its just on my bedside table." :D

I posted the mnemonics hoping to stock them all in my mind, but unfortunately I only memorized a few. HAHA :)

I've already stacked a few coffee sachets so that I won't have to go downstairs to get one in the middle of the night. Hahaha

My clothes were piled up in one of my bookshelves :)

My bags and things from the dorm were scattered under my drawer. Thank God for large boxes anyway ;)

Officially unemployed.

Finally! After years of hiatus, I will at last have my time to start a decent blog. Ever since I took up nursing, all my precious time were allotted to studying so now that I've graduated and officially unemployed, I can now do everything I want since I already have all the time I have. Haha! :) Meanwhile, while I'm making myself familiar again with the blogging world, let me share with you some of the shots I had for the most important event of my
college life, my Graduation!

Before it was high school, now its college. Cheers to us my best friend for 7 years, we have finally made it!

And of course, a celebration isn't a celebration if there is no food involved. So we had my Graduation Dinner at Corniche in Diamond Hotel. Food tastes yummy, specially if its buffet! Haha :D

Goodnight guys! ;)
