NOJ - 10 day photo project: Day 4

Welcome to Shirayuri ;)

Why I love it: Printed on our paper was the schedule of our activities for our whole stay in Sendai. I became more excited of the itineraries and the fact that we will be going with other students from Shirayuri. :) More friends! Yey! :) Also, I loved how the light reflected on the paper. It made the photo look more dramatic. Hoho :D

NOJ - 10 day photo project: Day 3

TDL, my childhood dream

Why I love it: This is actually shot unintentionally. I was trying to take a photo of a different subject when I accidentally clicked the button. I loved how the blurriness of the background highlighted the balloons making it the real subject though. Reminded me of my love for balloons when I was a child. :">

NOJ - 10 day photo project: Day 2

Streets of Tokyo

Why I love it: See any people? None right? This photo was taken at around 10am and still there are no people walking, or whatever. We were the only ones walking around! I can't imagine this could be possible. Haha! Back home, people are already awake even just before the sun rises and sometimes, you would be awaken by their loud voices. But here, its just so quiet. Whew, quite a different start. ;)

NOJ - 10 day photo project: Day 1

Flight DL172 bound for Tokyo

Why I love it: This ticket screamed reality. I'm finally going to Japan! ;) My first international flight, me and my best friend together, and the coincidence of being in the same flight with one of my guy best friend, Earl. (they're heading for NY, for good *sobs*) The last part was sad, but hey, how often do friends get together in the same flight unplanned right? ;)

Nostalgia over Japan - 10 day photo project

Exactly a year ago, I can remember myself packing my things up, very much excited with our 10 day tour in Japan, in Tokyo and Sendai to be exact. It was an educational tour arranged by our department for us nursing students. Scheduled on our term break, the hours will be counted as our RLE duty so technically, we will have a 2week off for the next semester. Anyways, that was a very memorable trip for me since that was the first time I went out of the country, not to mention the fact that I didn't have my parents with me but instead I went with my best friend. Yay! ;)

Just recently, me and my friends suddenly became nostalgic about the whole trip so I thought of making a 10 day photo project about Japan - picking my most favorite photo of each day, from the day we arrived until the day we left. Basically, it will start tomorrow, so for today, I will just leave you with this collage that I made - all photos coming from the trip as well . :)

Good night! and in Japanese, Oyasuminasai! ;) xx

Re-blog: Most Important Stranger

I was browsing Tumblr just this morning, when I stumbled upon this post. I was so moved that's why I just have to re-post it here. :") Anyways, this originally came from http://aadambautistaa.tumblr.com

The Most Important Stranger
Can you believe that someone you never even met yet will impact your life like no other past or present can? That there is a stranger right now out there in the world who will one day be the reason for those idiotic smiles whenever you think of them, your heart suddenly skipping a beat, your breath being taken away, and those sleepless nights when all you want to do is talk to them no matter how tired you are.
Someone that you have never talked to before will one day be the person you will want to talk constantly too. Someone that you may have never seen before will be the person that you will one day want to see constantly just so you can look deep into their eyes. Someone that you have never spent one second with before will one day be the person you will want to spend forever with.
There is a stranger somewhere out there; the most important stranger that you have yet to meet. This stranger will one day be your everything. Your soulmate. The one you will intrust your heart too. The one you that you won’t believe you ever lived without. Whether you believe in destiny or coincidence, this most important stranger is the one the you end up falling helplessly in love for.

Oh well, just something to ponder on for the whole day. Have a great day ahead! ;)
